The Gers lost 2-0 to Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership last weekend.

Although Pedro Caixinha’s side were able to keep the Celtic attackers at bay for the first 45 minutes, the Hoops stepped up their game in the second period and picked up all three points from the Old Firm derby.

The performance of Rangers against Celtic was not great, and John has revealed that the team had a meeting after the defeat.

Rangers have a good team, but their performances and results so far this season have been disappointing.

Perhaps it is due to the fact that the Gers signed a number of players in the summer transfer window.

It does take time for a team to gel especially after quite an overhaul, and maybe in the coming weeks Rangers will play better.
