The American has signed a five-year-deal at St. James’ Park.
Newcastle have wrapped up the signing of DeAndre Yedlin from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee, the club confirmed on its official website.
The United States international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at St. James’ Park after the two clubs agreed a fee.

Yedlin moved to Tottenham from Seattle Sounders in 2014 after impressing at that year’s World Cup, but the 23-year-old struggled to establish himself in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
He was loaned out to Newcastle’s North East rivals Sunderland on a season-long loan last year and made 25 appearances in all competitions.

Yedlin’s performances were enough to impress Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez, and the club was heavily linked to the right-back before making a bid for his services.
Now the club’s ninth signing of the summer, Yedlin’s arrival will significantly strengthen the Championship side’s options at the back four.
Benitez has swiftly moved to overhaul the side in the midst of a campaign in the Championship, and Yedlin’s arrival represents a real coup for the Spaniard.
