Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers beat Sheffield Wednesday today.
Rangers rounded off a mixed pre-season campaign on a very high note by beating Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at Hillsborough on Sunday.
Josh Windass opened the scoring shortly before half time, while evergreen striker Kenny Miller added a second after the break.
Rangers were dumped out of the Europa League by Progres earlier this month in what is widely considered their worst ever result.

But beating the Championship side represents another step in the right direction for the Gers, who beat Watford in a behind-closed-doors friendly during the week and drew 1-1 with Marseille at Ibrox eight days ago.
It is a big season for Windass, whose future in Glasgow looked uncertain last month amid speculation from The Sun that Hull City wanted to sign him.
Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has added plenty of attacking talent to his ranks this summer, perhaps prompting speculation about Windass’s role, but the 23-year-old looks to be rising to the challenge.
And his father, Hull legend Dean Windass, has suggested on Twitter that he knew his son would improve with better players around him.
After this performance, Windass will hope to be included in Caixinha’s first XI next Sunday when the Blues face Motherwell in their Premiership opener.
