Aston Villa beat Swansea City 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

New Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has told the club’s official website that he thinks Tammy Abraham will be disappointed after the 1-0 win over Swansea City.
Smith was appointed as Villa manager over the international break after Steve Bruce’s sacking, and had to wait over a week to take charge of his first game.
A boyhood Villa fan, Smith made his bow at Villa Park in front of huge support, and will be delighted to have picked up a win in his first game.
Villa took an early lead, as Abraham headed home Ahmed Elmohamady’s cross, and that proved to be the winning goal, giving Smith a vital three points.
Smith takes his side to face Norwich City in midweek, and he will be looking for Chelsea loanee Abraham to get on the scoresheet yet again.
The 21-year-old striker hit his fourth goal of the season on Saturday, and has now scored in three consecutive games to justify why Steve Bruce brought him in on loan in August.

However, Smith spoke to Villa’s official website after the game, and whilst he praised the goal, he suggested that Abraham will be disappointed – as he should have scored a hat-trick.
“It was a great second-phase delivery and a great header,” said Smith. “He’ll be disappointed because he could have probably walked away with the matchball today,” he added.
