Aston Villa striker Wesley has failed to score in his first two Premier League appearances.

Villa are due to face Everton later this evening, and Smith was informed that questions were going to be asked about new striker Wesley.
The Brazilian has not scored on his first two Villa appearances, and his performances have been short of the quality required.
But Smith was shocked to hear about the lack of patience from the media with the target-man.
He said: “The exposure is bigger [in the Premier League]. When my press officer tells me that some of the questions might be on Wesley after two games it does surprise me slightly.”
Villa spent big on Wesley, and the fact that questions are already being asked about him, shows the weight up expectation that he is carrying at Villa Park.

Villa cannot afford for Wesley to take too much longer to settle, as they have put a lot of faith in him.
Smith’s options look short up-top if Wesley fails to fire, with Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis his only other real options.
Villa are still looking for their first win since being promoted back to the top flight, after losing their first two matches back in the Premier League.
