Aston Villa have won just once in their first three games in Dean Smith’s time in charge.

Smith took over from Steve Bruce last month, and he has been trying to oversee a big change at the Midlands club.
Although Smith has lost two of his first three games in charge, Villa fans have generally seen reason to be positive in recent weeks.
And Smith claims that right from the offset he wanted Villa’s players to reflect the club’s values, even in training.
“I said to the players on the first day when someone walks into this training ground from the outside world they should hear, see and feel what this club means,” he said.
“That goes along with the values of what we want it to stand for. But I am also aware you can only go one game at a time and three points at a time.”

Smith led Villa to victory in his first match in charge, but he has been unable to win since.
Villa have lost to Norwich City and QPR in their last two outings, and slipped down to 17th in the Championship table.
While there is still a feeling that Villa are moving forward under Smith, the new claret and blues boss will know that he can only stay in favour so long without results.
Villa are next in action this evening, when they take on Bolton Wanderers, and the pressure is on them to pick up the three points.
