Aston Villa welcome West Bromwich Albion to Villa Park on Saturday for the first-leg of their play-off semi final clash.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith spoke to reporters today, ahead of his side’s play-off clash with West Brom, and stated that Ørjan Nyland is the only player who is unavailable for selection, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Villans are looking to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2016, whilst the Baggies will be desperate to make an immediate return, having suffered relegation last term.
Aston Villa are currently in the midst of a fine run of form, having won 10 and drawn one of their last 12 Championship games, and they will be full of confidence heading into Saturday’s game against West Brom.
Considering how far into the season we are, Villa fans will be delighted to hear Smith’s comments today regarding who he has available for selection.
The Aston Villa boss addressed the media, and named the only player who will not be fit for Saturday’s game, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“Ørjan Nyland will miss out. He’s the only one. We’re in good shape.”
The Norwegian hasn’t actually played for Villa since December, so he will be no great miss during the play-offs, and Smith will be delighted at having everyone else fit and available for selection on Saturday.
