Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has raved about Jack Grealish for his performance against West Bromwich Albion, as quoted on BBC Sport.

Smith believes that the attacking midfielder was fantastic at The Hawthorns on Sunday evening, as Villa won the Premier League game 3-0.

The Villa boss told BBC Sport about Grealish: “Jack was fantastic and he looks like he is playing on the playground with his mates. His balance is incredible, he is so hard to knock off the ball.”

How did Jack Grealish play against West Bromwich Albion?

Grealish is a very good attacking midfielder who can also operate as a winger, and the Villa star did well against West Brom.

The England international did not always get space to weave his magic, especially in and around the West Brom penalty box, but the 25-year-old was always there as an option for his teammates.

According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder took one shot which was on target, played eight key passes, had a pass accuracy of 87.8%, took 97 touches, attempted four dribbles, and put in two crosses.

So far this season, Grealish has scored five goals and provided six assists in 12 Premier League matches for Villa, according to WhoScored.

Villa are ninth in the Premier League table with 22 points from 12 matches and are having a wonderful season.
