Aston Villa are currently in the midst of a wonderful run of form, but they will be tested to the limit against the Robins tomorrow.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference today, and provided a fitness update on Kortney Hause, suggesting that the centre-back is a big doubt for tomorrow’s clash with Bristol City, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The 23-year-old joined the Villans on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January, and he has proven to be a real hit at Villa Park, making 10 Championship appearances in the process.
Aston Villa currently sit in fifth spot in the table, one point ahead of tomorrow’s visitors Bristol City, and not having Hause available for the game will be a bitter blow for the west Midlands outfit.
Smith addressed the media today, and admitted that the 23-year-old Wolves loanee is really struggling to be fit in time for tomorrow’s three o’clock kick-off, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“He’s going to struggle. I’ll leave it until as late as possible, but he’s looking doubtful. I want to have a look at him in the morning. He’s got a hip problem that can effect his abdominals. If he can’t play, we’ve got people who can.”
Despite Hause’s importance to Villa, Smith would be wise not to rush him back, and risk jeopardising the rest of his season.
And Mile Jedinak could be set to fill in for the 23-year-old.
