Callum O’Hare was in acton for the Aston Villa Under-23 side against their Newcastle United counterparts.

O’Hare scored twice for the Villa Under-23s against their Newcastle counterparts at the Banks’s Stadium in Premier League 2 Division Two last week.
The performance of the 20-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as an attacking midfielder, was very encouraging, and Villa manager Smith was impressed.
Smith told The Birmingham Mail about O’Hare: “It was a mad game, there were four goals in ten minutes.
“Callum took the eye with his two goals and there are some good players there who just need to learn not to be too emotional when they lose a goal.
“I speak on a daily basis with Mark and Kevin and we have had a number of the youngsters training in and around the first-team so we can judge their abilities.”

First-team promotion
O’Hare is a very good and promising young attacking player, and the 20-year-old is progressing well for the Villa youth team.
The England Under-20 international has also played for the Villa senior side, and perhaps the 20-year-old will get his chance under Smith in the coming weeks and months.
Villa are not in great form at the moment, and a young and energetic player like O’Hare could make a difference for the Villans as the season progresses.
