Aston Villa lost to Queens Park Rangers in the Championship last Friday.

Villa suffered a 1-0 defeat to QPR away from home at Loftus Road in London in the Championship last Friday evening.
Pawel Wszolek’s goal in the 38th minute proved to be the difference between Rangers and the Villans.
Villa manager Smith has outlined the four positives for his team from the loss to QPR.
Smith told Villa’s official website: “I’m downhearted about the result because I want to climb the league but I saw a lot of pluses in the game – our structure was very good, we passed the ball very well, John McGinn made some good runs forward, Jack Grealish has got in the box and had numerous opportunities.”

Moving on
Villa’s recent form and performances have not been great, and the defeat to QPR even at Loftus Road must be hugely disappointing for the fans.
Smith has only just been appointed as the Villa manager, and it could take him a while to get his ideas across to the players.
What is important is that Villa learn from their mistakes from each and every week and work on them.
Villa will return to action on Friday morning when they take on Bolton Wanderers at Villa Park in the Championship.
