Aston Villa have recently appointed Dean Smith as their new boss.

Smith is impressed with the players that Bruce has left him to pick from at Villa.
However, the new claret and blues boss feels that Villa’s squad is currently slightly top heavy.
“It’s a fantastic squad, full of quality,” he said. “We probably look a bit unbalanced at the back at the moment, if we’re all honest.
“There’s only a couple of centre-backs at the football club. But, overall, I’m very happy with it.”
Bruce certainly seemed to focus more on Villa’s attack than their defence over the summer, through his transfer dealings.

The Villans brought in a number of attacking additions, but Axel Tuanzebe was the only centre-back they added.
Villa have already been caught short at the back this season, with Bruce often having to play Mile Jedinak out of position at centre-back.
Smith’s first game in charge at Villa will come at the weekend, when his new side take on Swansea City.
