Axel Tuanzebe showed why he should have been playing at centre-back for Aston Villa more regularly last night.

Axel Tuanzebe’s excellent performance at centre-back for Aston Villa has exposed Steve Bruce’s error of playing Mile Jedinak there.
Villa may have been beaten 2-1 by Norwich City last night, but Tuanzebe’s display showed a lot of promise.
The youngster looked solid throughout the contest, with his performance earning a lot of credit.
And Tuanzebe’s excellent display at centre-back only makes it all the more questionable why Bruce kept playing Jedinak out of position there.

Jedinak often struggled at centre-back for Villa, but the Australian kept getting picked by Bruce, much to the Villa Park crowd’s frustration.
Tuanzebe is far more accustomed to the position though, and his partnership with James Chester shows plenty of promise.
Tuanzebe is now likely to start in Villa’s next match, which comes against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Friday evening.
