Andre Moreira joined Aston Villa on loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Moreira joined Championship club Villa on a season-long loan deal from Spanish club Atletico in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has not made a single appearance in the Championship for the Villans so far this season.
With the signing of Lovre Kalinic from Gent, Moreira is going to find it extremely hard for playing time during the second half of the season, and Villa manager Smith has suggested that the Portuguese youngster could go back to Atletico.
Smith told The Birmingham Mail: “At the moment Andre has not really been pushing. It is something we will look at in January.
“I have spoken to Andre about that already. He was not a goalkeeper I was aware of when I first came into the club.
“We don’t really think he has been pushing Orjan as much as we would like. That is only our opinion.”

Aston Villa exit
Moreira is a good goalkeeper, and the Portuguese needs to play regularly in order to develop and progress.
It does not make any sense for the Portuguese to stay at Villa, especially after signing of goalkeeper Kalinic, and he should be looking at moving to another club on loan in the January transfer window.
Villa are doing well at the moment and are challenging for the Championship playoffs this season.
