Jack Grealish is in the form of his life for Aston Villa at the moment.
Dean Saunders has told Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT (broadcast on February 15) that Jack Grealish is looking like more a physical presence for Aston Villa after his injury.
The 22-year-old stole the show for Aston Villa in Sunday’s derby-day win over Birmingham City at Villa Park.
The talented midfielder missed the first three months of the season with a kidney injury, but he has been one of the Villans’ best players since his return in November.
And Aston Villa legend Saunders believes that Grealish has developed into a bigger, stronger footballer during his time out of the side.
He told the Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT: “He’s playing well. And he looks bigger – and stronger. He’s turning into a man.”
Consequence of their win over City, Steve Bruce’s side are now second in the Championship and their position, coupled with their brilliant form, means it’s very probable that they’ll win automatic promotion.
Villa have won their last seven Championship games, having drawn two and lost three of their five games in December, and it seems like the veteran manager has them destined for the Premier League once again.
