Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Dean Saunders has claimed that he doesn’t expect Wolves star Matt Doherty to have the same impact for his club next season.
The former Wales striker believes that opposition teams will work out the right wing-back and, as a result, nullify the ‘damage’ he has been causing teams during this campaign.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in the semi-final’s of the FA Cup and are currently on course to finish in the Premier League’s top seven.
Speaking to the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on talkSPORT (18/03/2019 at 9:15 am), Saunders explained what opposing teams will do to someone like Doherty next term.
On teams working Wolves out for next season: “You don’t expect Matt Doherty to be getting on the end of crosses and causing as much damage as he has done at right wing-back,” Saunders told talkSPORT.
“So when you play him against next year and you have been stung by him. Teams go well, ‘we’ve got an idea of what they are going to do now'”

From the start of last season, when Wolves were in the Championship, they have been a force to be reckoned with. as has been proven by their style of play, individual stars and team performances.
Republic of Ireland international Doherty has played a key part in that success, helping them win the Championship title and earn promotion and now potentially guide them into Europe and FA Cup success.
Over the course of the season, he has played 30 league games for Nuno’s side, scoring three goals and supplying his teammates with six assists from the right wing-back position [transfermarkt].
After the international break, Wolves will be looking to maintain seventh spot in the league and progress to the final of the FA Cup.
