Sheffield United have won promotion to the Premier League.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson has told the Sheffield Star that he wants to play for Sheffield United in the Premier League next season following the club’s promotion.
The Blades knew that a win over already-relegated Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon would take them to the cusp of the Premier League, and they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Scott Hogan and Jack O’Connell.
Only two Leeds wins and a wild goal swing would have stopped Sheffield United from going up, and Leeds could only draw with Aston Villa on Sunday, meaning the Blades are up.
Chris Wilder has masterminded a remarkable rise, as United were only winning promotion from League One two years ago, and now they’re back in the Premier League after a 12-year absence.
Wilder will already be looking to the transfer window, having earned a reputation as a smart worker in the market, and goalkeeper Henderson will be a top target.
The Manchester United ace, 22, has spent the season on loan at Bramall Lane, becoming a fan favourite whilst keeping 20 clean sheets in 44 games for the Blades.
His form has led to speculation, as ESPN claim that Bayern Munich and Juventus are both keen to sign Henderson, with Tottenham also monitoring the situation given that United have a clear first-choice in David De Gea.

Now though, Henderson has admitted that he wants to play for Sheffield United in the Premier League next season, leaving it up to the clubs to sort out a deal – even though his long-term Manchester United dreams remain.
“I want to play Premier League football at Bramall Lane. It’s down to the two clubs to sort out, but that’s what I’d love,” said Henderson. “I’m a Manchester United fan and my ambition to be No.1 there and with England remains, but the love I’ve received here… I’ve never felt so welcome, wherever I’ve been.”
“I’ve built-up such a good relationship with the fans and I’m really enjoying my time here,” he added.
