Fernando Llorente reportedly snubbed Chelsea for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Fernando Llorente from Premier League rivals Swansea City on transfer deadline day.
The North London club secured the services of Spanish striker Llorente from Swansea on a two-year contract.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs had to pay the Welsh club a transfer fee of £12.1 million in order to secure the services of the 32-year-old striker.
It has been reported that the North London club started negotiations to sign the former Juventus star on Wednesday and agreed a deal with Swansea on the deal on transfer deadline day morning.

According to The Mirror, Chelsea, who won the Premier League title last season, were interested in signing Llorente on transfer deadline day as well.
Football.London has also claimed that Antonio Conte’s side wanted to recruit the Spain international striker in the summer transfer window.
It seems that Llorente chose Tottenham over Chelsea despite having worked with Conte when both of them were at Chelsea.

Former West Ham United striker Dean Ashton, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has shared his opinion on Llorente’s move from Swansea to Tottenham, and has admitted his surprise that the striker chose Spurs over Chelsea.
“I can’t get my head around why he wouldn’t go to Chelsea above Tottenham,” Football.London quotes Ashton as saying. “That’s my opinion.
“I think you’re more likely to win something at Chelsea. I think you’re more likely to play at Chelsea. So I wonder whether he just doesn’t like Antonio Conte or what Tottenham have said to convince him.”
