Dean Ashton last week said that Tottenham’s Harry Kane has a lot to improve on.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner Harry Kane is looking good to repeat his feat after netting a hat-trick against Stoke City this weekend.
Seven days earlier Kane had hit another treble against Fulham in the FA Cup, underlining his importance to the side.
After the cup display, former West Ham striker Dean Ashton told Talksport that he still feels Kane has a long way to go if he is to be considered a top forward.
Ashton had told the station that he believes Kane needs to ‘get nasty’ if he is to really raise the bar, and is a long way from Alan Shearer’s level.
In light of his hat-trick against Stoke, achieved in the first half of the match, Ashton responded on Twitter after being reminded of his comments by ex-Spurs defender Graham Roberts.
Asked by a fan if he felt Kane had been physical enough, he commented:
Kane has now netted 17 Premier League goals, the same number as Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.
The Tottenham striker has the best minutes per goal ratio of the trio, averaging a strike every 106 minutes of Premier League action.
