David Moyes is contracted at West Ham until the end of the season.

Former West Ham United striker Dean Ashton has told Sky Sports that his old side’s performance against Manchester City could determine the outcome of David Moyes’ future at the club.
The Hammers were battered 4-1 by Premier League champions City, thanks to goals from Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho as well as a Pablo Zabaleta own goal. Aaron Cresswell netted for the hosts.
But the scoreline was arguably kind on the Hammers, who seemed lacklustre in all departments. They now sit just three points above the Premier League relegation zone after Southampton beat Bournemouth on Saturday.

Ashton claimed Moyes’ future is on the line after Sunday’s loss, and claimed that the Hammers players could be ignoring Moyes tactics on the training ground.
“It is performances like this which could affect whether he stays or goes,” Ashton said. “They weren’t expected to win but there is a way you play against City or one of the other top sides, the way you approach the game.
“Either Moyes has done a lot of work during the week and the players have just ignored it, or they haven’t done enough work in terms of how they set up. There are a lot of things wrong at West Ham this season, not just on the pitch.”

Moyes was appointed at the London Stadium towards the end of 2017 following the sacking of Slaven Bilic, and has taken the east Londoners out of the relegation zone and into safety – for now.
West Ham have a difficult run in ahead of them, as they face a tough trip to Leicester City before facing second-placed Manchester United and then Everton at the London Stadium on May 13.
