Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Fabio Carvalho is about to leave Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool for RB Leipzig.

The Italian journalist has claimed that RB Leipzig will sign Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, will join the German club on loan for next season.

Liverpool and manager Jurgen Klopp did not want the youngster to leave permanently.

Romano has added that there is a total agreement over the loan deal, and that the contract will be signed next week.

Coming back to Liverpool a better player

In our view, a loan move to RB Leipzig could really help Fabio Carvalho in his progress and development as a player and could see him return to Liverpool a more mature footballer.

Leipzig regularly challenge for the Bundesliga title and compete in the UEFA Champions League.

The Bundesliga is a very attacking domestic league and is hard as well.

So, Carvalho would have to work hard to be at his best, but at the same time, he would enjoy playing in the Bundesliga.

Carvalho is a very good attacking player who loves to play with the ball at his feet.

The Bundesliga would suit the Portugal Under-21 international, and we believe that he could really flourish in Germany.
