Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Emile Smith Rowe for the Under-23 side against their Everton counterparts today.

Smith Rowe scored the only goal of the Premier League 2 game this afternoon, as Arsenal won 1-0.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was set up by Ben Cottrell early in the game, and the youngster did not make any mistake in finishing off the slick move.

The youngster was taken off at half time, leaving some Arsenal fans impressed by his performance, as shown below in the posts on Twitter.

While some Arsenal supporters are calling for the youngster to be given the chance against Leeds United in the Premier League this weekend or in the Europa League next week, others are suggesting that he is good enough to be compared to Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

Talented youngster

Smith Rowe has played for the Arsenal first team, but the 20-year-old has yet to establish himself as a regular in the senior squad.

The England Under-20 international is a very good and promising young attacking midfielder, and playing for the Under-23 side on a regular basis could help him grow and progress.
