Kevin de Bruyne has picked Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante, in his five-a-side Premier League team, as he told Copa90.

The PFA’s Premier League Player of the Year also included himself, alongside Liverpool’s centre-back, Virgil Van Dijk and Wolves keeper, Jose Sa.

The catch for de Bruyne was that he could only pick one player from each team.

The Belgian did try to initially include Chelsea shot-stopper, Edouard Mendy, in his team, but then realised he already had Kante.

Nonetheless, this is what de Bruyne had to say regarding his very own five-a-side Premier League team.

“I would take Van Dijk,” said de Bruyne. “Kante. I’ll take Harry Kane. Then put myself in for Man City purposes.

“I would say this year, Jose Sa. I think he was really good.”

DE BRUYNE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE?

De Bruyne would have a strong argument that he is currently the best player in the Premier League.

He certainly ended the season in a strong fashion by helping Manchester City to the Premier League title, including scoring four goals past Sa at Wolves.

Van Dijk is always bossing proceedings at the back and is always in the conversation as the best in class right now.

But Heung-Min Son, who won the Golden Boot for the first time in his career, is another one that can now put his name amongst the best.
