Laurens De Bock made his debut for Leeds on Saturday before the squad jetted off to Spain.

January recruit Laurens De Bock has told Leeds United’s official website that the training sessions in Spain are “tough” and “intense” but believes it has helped him become more integrated with the squad.
Leeds jetted off to Spain after the 4-3 loss to bitter rivals Millwall on Saturday afternoon, with Thomas Christiansen putting his squad through a vigorous training regime of morning and afternoon sessions in Murcia.
Christiansen has overseen fitness and tactical sessions in the morning, before more ball work and extra running in the afternoon on Tuesday and Wednesday. Leeds’ last full day in Spain is on Thursday before they fly back on Friday.

De Bock, 25, who joined Leeds from Club Brugge this month to solve Leeds’ left-back concerns, described the training sessions and believes they will benefit the Whites’ clash against Hull City on Tuesday night.
“It’s been tough, we’ve had long and intense sessions and with the sun it has made it difficult,” De Bock said. “We’ve done a lot of tactics and a lot of running, we are preparing for Hull and we will be doing everything to win this game.
“The camp has been a good way for me to know the boys better, we sleep, eat and train together all of the time, everyone is really friendly and it is really nice to be here.”

De Bock’s arrival at Elland Road came at a crucial time as Luke Ayling was ruled out for the rest of the season. It sees Gaetano Berardi move to right-back, with De Bock now the club’s first-choice left-back.
The uncapped Belgian is expected to make his second Leeds appearance on Tuesday night, as Leeds look to put a run of five games without a win behind them with three points against Neil Adkins’ side at the KCOM Stadium.
