Everton star Wayne Rooney has been linked with DC United in the summer transfer window.

DC United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the club’s interest in Everton star Wayne Rooney.
Head coach Ben Olsen has told TMZ that DC United are interested in signing Rooney from Everton in the Premier League.
Olsen added that the Major League Soccer club have yet to agree a deal with the Toffees over the transfer of the 32-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder.
Everton manager Sam Allardyce recently told BBC Sport that he knows that there is interest from DC United in Rooney.

The former England international returned to Everton in the summer of 2017 after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season.
Rooney has made 27 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton this season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in the process.
