Michael Dawson has said that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy will not hire Ryan Mason as the permanent manager of Spurs.
The former Tottenham defender has said on Sky Sports News (1:09pm, April 29, 2023) that Mason will eventually leave Tottenham to become a permanent club at another club.
The Sky Sports pundit has praised the Englishman for the hard work he has put in during his time as coaching at Tottenham.
Mason is in charge of the Tottenham first team for the rest of the season.
The Englishman has told Sky Sports that he wants to stay on as the Spurs boss and wants to become the permanent manager of the North London club.
Michael Dawson on Ryan Mason and Tottenham Hotspur job
Dawson said: “I don’t see him managing at Spurs. I see him going on to manage elsewhere. I do. I think he has worked so hard, coaching for six years now.”

HITC Verdict: Unlikely
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is unlucky to hire Ryan Mason as the permanent manager of the first team.
We do not think that Levy will trust the young Englishman to lead the current team in the long run.
And we can understand that.
Yes, this is the second time that Mason has been placed in temporary charge of the first team, but there is a big difference between managing for a few games and leading the team over the course of an entire season.
