The Everton midfielder will be a big hit in time and has already shown glimpses of his undeniable talent.
Some Everton fans have been quick to brand summer signing Davy Klaassen an average player at best, while others feel he is already proving to be a waste of money, but for those paying closer attention it is clear what the Toffees have bought.
Klaassen may have had a relatively slow start to life at Goodison Park, with his pre-season performances a long way from electrifying. However he has already shown glimpses of the skill set that prompted Ronald Koeman to buy him.

The 24-year-old scored 55 goals in 180 matches for former club Ajax, but as deadly as he can be in attacking positions, his all-round play should not be understated.
Already the new Everton player has shown his speed of thought and his ability to take up perfect positions in the box, not only to forge his own goal-scoring opportunities but to allow others to do the same, and while he has not exploded onto the scene as some would have hoped, his ability both on the ball and off it is clear.
Klaassen was always going to take time to settle at Everton and he was never going to be banging them in from the outset. But it would be far more worrying if he was not doing the simple stuff so well.
His footballing mind is a degree or two sharper than the majority of Premier League players and once he builds up an understanding with his new teammates Everton will thrive.
Most importantly of all, Klaassen needs a central striker to thrive off, and if Everton can sign a replacement for Romelu Lukaku in the next few weeks it will do the Dutchman no end of good.
