Everton earned a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

Cenk Tosun scored his second goal of the season to help Everton earn a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League – and Davy Klaassen praised his former teammate on Instagram.
Dom Calvert-Lewin finally broke the deadlock in the 87th minute, as Marco Silva’s substitutions made the difference. One change, Ademola Lookman, crossed to another sub in Calvert-Lewin, who headed home.
Just two minutes later, and Tosun found the back of the net after getting onto the end of Michael Keane’s long ball, placing his shot through Wayne Hennessey’s legs to wrap up all three points.
Tosun cost Everton £27million in January, but has only managed seven goals since his move and is at danger of becoming an expensive flop. Another expensive flop, Davy Klaassen, congratulated Tosun on Instagram.
Tosun, 27, had started Everton’s first five Premier League matches, but has since been dropped after failing to score in any. Being brought on as a sub in the other four games, Tosun has scored twice.
Playmaker Klaassen, meanwhile, left Everton in the summer after a disappointing 2017-18 campaign at Goodison Park, joining German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen. He has scored two goals and created another two in nine games.
