Davy Klaassen’s agent insists the midfielder still believes he can have a future at Everton.

Davy Klaassen has not given up on his Everton career and plans to begin his pre-season on Merseyside, according to the midfielder’s agent.
Klaassen, a graduate of Ajax’s famed youth academy, left his homeland last summer to join the Toffees for a reported £24million to work under a fellow Dutchman in Ronald Koeman.
The midfielder struggled in his first season in the Premier League and his role was further reduced under Sam Allardyce, making just seven appearances in all – just three of those starts.

Klaassen almost left the club during the January window only for his proposed move to Napoli to fall through. And, while he could have more offers come his way in the coming months, the Netherlands international has not decided to leave just yet.
Klaassen’s agent Soren Lerby told Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad: “Davy is not someone who gives up quickly. He wants to start pre-season with Everton.”
A huge summer of upheaval is already underway at Goodison Park with Allardyce sacked and the club appointing a new director of football in Marcel Brands.
With another busy transfer window expected, Lerby was asked what will happen should his client not be in the new Everton manager’s plans, telling the publication: “These are scenarios we can think about later.”
