Everton have been said to be interested in Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen.
Davy Klaassen has suggested to Dutch newspaper Trouw that nobody could blame him if he was to leave Ajax this season.
Everton are said to be tracking Klaassen, with Ronald Koeman keen to bring the Dutchman to Goodison Park.
And Klaassen seems to have suggested that a move away from Ajax could happen.
“I think no-one would blame me,” he said, when asked whether he would be leaving Ajax.
“But I want everyone to have a good feeling.
“I can see that I cannot be honest about a lot of things right now.”
The Daily Mail suggest that Everton would have to pay £21 million to sign Klaassen from Ajax.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been one of the Dutch side’s stars this campaign, providing goals and assists from his attacking midfield base.
Everton are known to be looking to improve the quality of their forward options, as Koeman wants to make his side much more of a threat.
Everton’s only player to score more than six goals this season was Romelu Lukaku.
