The Colombian has been in fine form for Tottenham since his record transfer in the summer.

In the summer Tottenham Hotspur broke their transfer record to bring in a new defender with Davinson Sanchez’s arrival.
The Colombian, who was unknown to many, became the club’s record transfer when Tottenham spent a fee reported by the BBC to be in the region of £42 million, to bring him to the club from Dutch side Ajax.
He has gone on to prove himself at Spurs as a top talent for the future and Tottenham fans are in no doubt they signed a star.

Speaking to the press in Colombia this week, the Tottenham defender has however been asked about his future at the club.
The 21-year-old was asked where he sees his future and told Deportes RCN that he will never move somewhere for the money and that he is happy at Tottenham:
“Let it be the best for me, I do not think about the money or where it is. Right now here in Tottenham I am very good.
“I am playing every three to four days. I am being important in the team.”
He went on to suggest he could even turn down the lure of Real Madrid, if the conditions were better for him to remain at Spurs:
“As big as Madrid is, no matter how big a team, that has won what they have won, if the conditions are not favorable for me, unfortunately I can not accept.
“Everything depends on the moment, the conditions and what is best for me as a player what does not cut my career and what is not profitable to keep taking steps forward.”
Real Madrid’s Croatian Luca Modric celebrates with Real Madrid’s Welsh forward Gareth Bale
The latter part will be music to the ears of Tottenham fans. They have twice seen their best players leave the club for Real Madrid – with Luka Modric in 2012 and again with Gareth Bale in 2013. This summer they are afraid the same could happen yet again, with Real being linked with a move for striker Harry Kane.
So to hear that Sanchez is already so committed to a future at Spurs, even if Real came calling, will undoubtedly please Tottenham fans.
