The Tottenham Hotspur stopper was back to his best against Leicester yesterday.

Tottenham ace Davinson Sanchez spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought win over Leicester City yesterday, and offered high words of praise for Hugo Lloris, labelling his teammate as one of the best goalkeeper’s in the world, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The France international, 32, was in excellent form for Spurs against the Foxes, and his penalty save when the score was at 1-0 eventually proved to be pivotal to the final outcome of the match.
Tottenham have been without some of their key men over the past few weeks, but incredibly they have managed to hang on to the coattails of Manchester City and Liverpool.
Lloris himself has improved drastically for Spurs over the past few weeks, and Sanchez made his feelings very clear on the experienced stopper, when speaking to reporters after yesterday’s win, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“We knew that before, he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and that’s the reason he’s our captain.”
Tottenham are right in the mix to win both the Premier League and the Champions League this season, and if they are to have any chance whatsoever of doing just that, Lloris will need to be on his very best form between now and May.
And if he lives up to Sanchez’s comments, Spurs will have every chance of ending their 11-year wait for a major trophy.
