Rangers have turned down three offers to lure striker Alfredo Morelos away from Ibrox.

Former Celtic winger Davie Provan has claimed his Scottish Sun column that Alfredo Morelos’ head is now “up his backside” after three bids were turned down by Rangers for the Ibrox striker’s services.
The Daily Mail claim just that, stating that three bids were received from the Chinese Super League with the latest worth £8million for the 21-year-old Colombian powerhouse. Beijing Renhe are said to be the club in question.
Signed by Pedro Caixinha in the summer from HJK Helsinki, Morelos has starred for the Light Blues by topping the goalscoring charts by finding the back of the net 13 times in just 28 league and cup appearances.

Graeme Murty has since claimed that Morelos is “confused”, but Provan translates that as Morelos is aware of the kind of pay rise he could be given. Provan also reckons the Gers board will be looking to take a profit.
“Graeme Murty says Alfredo Morelos is “confused” by an £8million offer from the Chinese Super League,” Provan said. “In other words, he’s aware of the money on offer and his head is now up his backside.
“If Morelos wants to cash in, Murty will struggle to keep the Colombian in Glasgow. At best, Rangers can expect the agent to be in demanding a hefty wage rise.
“Meanwhile, in the Ibrox boardroom they’ll be considering the words of legendary Wall Street investor Warren Buffet who said: ‘Never be embarrassed to take a profit.'”

Morelos has two and a half years to run on his current Ibrox contract, but it remains to be seen if he will be offered a new deal in order to keep him with the Glasgow giants.
The Gers’ number 20 is expected to be in the Rangers starting line-up once again as Murty prepares his side to face Partick Thistle on Tuesday night, with the manager looking for an immediate bounce back after Saturday’s loss to Hibs.
