Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos will be looking to make his mark on Celtic after the international break.

Alfredo Morelos of Rangers shoots at goal during the Ladbrokes Premiership match between Hibernian and Rangers at Easter Road on March 08, 2019 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Davie Hay has claimed that Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos isn’t too ‘pleasing on the eye’ with the way he behaves on the field of play.

The former Scotland international also stated that Celtic will know how to ‘get under his skin’ when the Old Firm duo meet at Parkhead after the international break.

Morelos is yet to find the back of the net against Celtic and the 22-year-old will be looking to end that run in 10 days time.

Ahead of that eagerly-awaited fixture, Hay mentioned Morelos’ record against Celtic, but he still expects the youngster to be a ‘threat’ to Neil Lennon’s side.

“He hasn’t scored against Celtic, but he is a threat,” said Hay, as quoted by Glasgow Evening Times. “He is a goalscorer and his record would show that this season, but the players will know themselves that there are ways to get under his skin.

“He isn’t too pleasing on the eye at times with the way he behaves but ultimately Rangers are a stronger team with him in it than they are without him, so they’ll be pleased at the fact he is free to take his place.”

Alfredo Morelos of Rangers is seen in action during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premier League match between Rangers and Dundee at Ibrox Stadium on February 27, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

There is no doubt that Morelos has been one of the standout performers in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The Colombia international has played 44 matches in all competitions for the Gers, scoring 29 goals and supplying his teammates with 11 assists.

Morelos is one goal away from scoring 30 goals in all competitions and he is three shy of hitting the 20 mark for the Premiership campaign.

Nonetheless, the last time Rangers and Celtic met, Steven Gerrard’s side won 1-0 and they will need more of the same if they are to have any chance of closing that near impossible 10-point gap.
