David Weir has said on BT Sport 2 (10:11pm, November 25, 2021) that Rangers winger Ryan Kent could explode under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Rangers legend made the comments about Kent after watching him in action against Sparta Prague at Ibrox on Thursday evening.
The former Liverpool winger helped Rangers to a 2-0 win against Sparta in the Europa League.
It saw the Gers progress to the next round of the European competition.
David Weir’s verdict
Weir said about Kent on BT Sport 2 (10:11pm, November 25, 2021): “Ryan Kent for me still not at the level that we know he can get to. If he gets him on fire, I imagine that he would be his type of player.”

Ryan Kent a big player for Rangers
Kent is a very good player and is an important figure at Rangers.
Signed by Steven Gerrard at Rangers, the 25-year-old has grown and developed a lot at Ibrox.
The former Liverpool winger has had injury problems and has not been at his best in recent times.

However, in our view, Kent could explode under Van Bronckhorst.
The Rangers no. 14 is quick, has skills, and can score goals.
The Englishman has scored one goal and provided one assist in six Scottish Premiership matches so far this season.
Kent scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 32 league starts for the Gers last season.
