Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership.
David Weir has told The Sunday Post that Rangers trio of Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass and Matt Crooks could be “top players” for the Ibrox club.
All three of them joined Rangers this past summer but injury has prevented them from really making their mark as of yet.
Between them, Rossiter, Crooks and Windass have only started 11 Scottish Premiership games and it has perhaps affected their league form, with Celtic – who have two games in hand – 11 points clear of the second-placed Gers.

But they all arrived with big reputations and Windass, in particular, has looked a very special talent in his seven Premiership outings so far.
And Weir, manager Mark Warburton’s assistant, says that the trident have big careers with the Gers ahead of them, if they can stay fit for long enough.
“We’re getting to the point where we know our jobs and roles, and it’ll get better,” he told The Sunday Post.

“You look at Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass and Matt Crooks, guys who haven’t yet had that consistent run.
“Once those young players get that, there is the foundation for what, given time, could be top Rangers players.”
