The 22-year-old made his debut in the win over Queen of the South.

Rangers assistant manager David Weir has told the club’s official website that it is obvious that Matt Crooks is a talented footballer.
The youngster joined the Gers in the summer transfer window after agreeing a pre-contract agreement in the January transfer window.
He had to wait until Tuesday evening to make his competitive debut for the club, though, after an injury picked up in March saw him miss out on the start of the campaign.
He impressed as a second-half substitute against Queen of the South, with his powerful running and composure catching the eye.

He will now be eyeing a first-team place in future and Weir has provided him with positive news about his chances.
“He’s obviously a talented footballer, which first and foremost is the most important thing, but he’s a great lad and he’s settling in here,” he told the club’s official website.
“I think we’re definitely going in the right direction and Matt Crooks will definitely feature for us as the season goes on, there is no doubt about that.”

One area that Rangers could utilise Crooks moving forward is in the centre of defence.
Although a midfielder, he can also play as a centre-back and that is a position they have struggled in so far this season.
They have already conceded nine goals in their first six games, the third-worst record in the division, and perhaps bringing the 22-year-old into the team could be the solution to that problem.
It would certainly make sense, with him unlikely to break into the midfield given the options they have in that position at present.
