Everton defender Morgan Feeney has captained their under-23 side for the past two seasons.

Feeney is regarded as one of Everton’s top talents, and there have been suggestions that he could move out on loan to a Football League club next term.
However, Everton’s youngsters were beaten 4-3 by Manchester City yesterday.
And Unsworth was left annoyed with his side’s display during the contest.
Indeed, the Everton youth coach suggested that Feeney needs to be more consistent, like many of his teammates.
“I’ve just said to the players, this team is about performing at a level of eight and nine and ten every week over a long period of time,” Unsworth said, when asked if Feeney would move at the end of the campaign.
“Unfortunately not many players got anywhere near that [in the 4-3 defeat against Manchester City.
“This team is all about performing consistently and giving yourself the platform to play in our first team, train with the first team or play in someone else’s first team.

“That’s Morgan and that’s all the team. Everybody has got a career and this team is a platform to hopefully bounce into someone’s first team but when we play like that there won’t be many.”
Feeney is the captain of Everton’s under-23 side, and the 20-year-old has excelled at youth level in recent years.
There are hopes that the England youth international could develop into a player capable of playing first-team football at Goodison Park.
If Feeney is made available for loan, Everton are likely to see plenty of offers come in for him from Football League sides.
