Oumar Niasse scored for Everton’s development squad, during their 5-0 win over Arsenal.

Everton academy boss David Unsworth has told the club’s official website that Oumar Niasse has been excellent while playing with the development squad.
Niasse was a big January buy from Roberto Martinez, but the forward has failed to make a positive impact at Goodison Park.

Niasse has struggled to impress when given some rare first-team opportunities, and it seems that he is set for a swift exit when the transfer window re-opens.
Niasse has not been given a chance since Ronald Koeman took charge.
However, Niasse did score in Everton’s development squad’s latest match against Arsenal, which they won 5-0.
And Unsworth said: “I thought Oumar was outstanding. His work-rate since he has been with us for the last few weeks has been incredible. He’s a had a disappointment – that’s football – but he has shown tonight that there is a player there.

“I was absolutely delighted that he got his goal and it was thoroughly deserved because it was a great individual performance.”
Even though Niasse has impressed for Everton’s development squad, it still seems highly unlikely that he will break into Koeman’s first-team.
Niasse made seven appearances for Everton last term, but failed to score in a competitive match.
