Morgan Feeney, compared to Liverpool great Jamie Carragher by Martin Keown, was in action for the Everton Under-23 side against their West Ham United counterparts on Monday.

The Everton Under-23 side got the better of their West Ham counterparts 2-1 on Monday and are back at the top of the Premier League 2 table..
Feeney played well for the Toffees and also scored with a header, and Under-23 boss Unsworth was impressed with the 19-year-old defender.
Unsworth told Everton’s official website: “I was delighted for Morgan. I think we saw the real Morgs tonight. It was a really commanding display.
“The injury he had, maybe 10 years ago players would not have even came back from that. But he has worked so hard.
“He is not just a excellent player but he is a terrific young man, too. I could not be happier for him.”

Promising talent
Feeney has only just returned from a six-month spell on the sidelines due to surgery to mend a problem with his patella tendons.
The performance of the defender against the West Ham Under-23 side was encouraging, and the teenager can only get better in the coming weeks and months.
The defender featured in the Europa League for Everton last season and impressed Arsenal legend Martin Keown, who compared him to Liverpool great Jamie Carragher on BT Sport in December 2017 (click here to read more).
