Galloway is out of favour at Everton and has been playing in the reserves.

David Unsworth has been quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying that he expects Brendan Galloway to remain at Everton this month despite being out of favour with Marco Silva’s first team.
Galloway, 22, has failed to make a single appearance for the first team this season, with a hamstring injury keeping the young defender sidelined from October onwards.
Nearing a return to training, Galloway has little chance of breaking into Silva’s senior side with the likes of Lucas Digne and Leighton Baines ahead of him in the pecking order.
Under-23 manager Unsworth was quoted by the Echo after masterminding his side’s 2-0 win over Chelsea’s second string on Monday night as saying that he expects Galloway to remain at Goodison this month.
“Brendan’s still a couple of weeks away from returning to training. It might be touch and go for Brendan in this window,” Unsworth said. “He might just have to finish the season with us because he’s had quite a serious hamstring injury.”
Galloway went on loan to Sunderland last season but struggled to make any kind of impact, managing only eight appearances for the Wearside club as they were relegated from the Championship into League One.

It is almost three years since Galloway last played for Everton’s senior side, when he came on as a late substitute to replace Seamus Coleman in a 3-0 win over Carlisle United in January 2016.
The England Under-21 international has a contract at Goodison Park until the summer of 2020, but the likelihood of him remaining at the club until then is unlikely.
