Everton youngster Josh Bowler scored the only goal of the game at Goodison Park last night.

Everton’s under 23 side won 1-0 against Brighton at Goodison Park last night to ensure that they lifted the PL2 title.
Bowler scored the only goal of the evening, with the Everton winger jinking inside before finishing well.
And Unsworth was very impressed by the performance that the Toffees wide-man put in.
“When he performs like that, he fully justifies the reason why we brought him to the football club,” Unsworth said.
“It was probably his best ever performance for us. Hopefully that can catapult him to the next level.”

Everton have now won two of the last three PL2 titles, with a promising batch of youngsters seemingly coming through at Goodison Park.
Breaking into Marco Silva’s starting line-up could be difficult, but Everton are keen to promote youngsters.
Bowler is yet to make a first team appearance for Everton, but his performance last night is unlikely to have done his chances any harm.
