David Thompson has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Liverpool will struggle to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season if Tottenham Hotspur sign Moussa Sissoko.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham are interested in securing the services of the Newcastle United midfielder on transfer deadline day.
Former Liverpool midfielder Thompson has suggested on Twitter that the Reds’ chances of clinching a Champions League spot will take a hit if Sissoko joins Spurs.

The Englishman believes that the partnership of Sissoko and Victor Wanyama in midfield will make Spurs very powerful.
