West Ham United have been brought back down to earth over recent weeks, having not won in their last four games.

Hammers co-owner David Sullivan warned Slaven Bilic, his staff and the West Ham players that they absolutely must do better over the coming weeks, when writing his regular column for the club’s official website, stating that the current situation cannot go on.
Yesterday’s defeat to Bournemouth made it four Premier League games without a win for the East London outfit, and they all-of-a-sudden find themselves just nine points clear of the drop zone, with crucial games against Leicester City, Hull City and Swansea City all coming in their next four outings.
And with all of those three sides currently below the Hammers in the table, the next four weeks could have a defining impact on their season.
And Sullivan explained how he wants to see more from Bilic and the players, starting with Saturday’s game at home to the Foxes, when writing his regular column for WHUFC.com:
“Slaven, the players and the staff all know we have to do better. We have conceded too many goals early in halves in recent games and, while we’ve managed to get ourselves back into games like the ones at Southampton and Watford and at home to West Bromwich Albion, there will be matches where we cannot equalise. That situation cannot go on.”

One issue for Bilic, that is become increasingly more concerning, is how both of his January signings have failed to make any kind of impact thus far.
Jose Fonte was brought in to help tighten up West Ham’s backline, but during the six games he has played so far, they have conceded 13 goals.
Robert Snodgrass, meanwhile, was signed to help improve their attacking productivity, yet he has failed to register either a goal or an assist during the six games he has played for the Hammers.
And something will have to change, otherwise Bilic could find himself under severe pressure before the end of the season.
