Manchester City travel to London to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, and will be looking to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Manchester City star David Silva has been speaking to ESPN Radio ahead of his side’s top-of-the-table clash against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow, and offered high praise for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
City currently sit top of the Premier League table, after a fantastic start to life under Pep Guardiola that has seen them reel off six consecutive league victories.
Their trip to White Hart Lane tomorrow, however, will provide them with a much sterner test to the ones they have face so far, and Guardiola’s men will have to be at their very best if they hope to bring all three points back to the Etihad.

Silva spoke to ESPN, and explained his thoughts on the Spurs side:
“Last year they were close to winning the league, this year they’ll be in the fight again because they have a great team. So it’s going to be a hard match.”
Spurs have certainly started their 2016/17 campaign with intent, and look to be the same tenacious, hungry side that performed so admirably last term.

The challenge for them this season will be to keep that form and those incredibly impressive fitness levels up for the entirety of the campaign, and avoid that last three or four game slump that cost them so dearly last term.
