Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will face off in the Champions League final in eight days time.

Manchester City ace David Silva spoke exclusively to Spanish radio station Ondacera, and delivered his verdict on the upcoming Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham in Madrid on June 1st.
The Reds and Spurs both produced miraculous comebacks in their respective semi-final clashes against Barcelona and Ajax last month.
Liverpool will fancy their chances of lifting their sixth European Cup, whilst Tottenham might just feel that they are destined to win the trophy for the first time, considering the challenges that they have faced, and subsequently overcome, in Europe this season.
And Silva insisted that anything can happen on the night in a one off game, when speaking exclusively to Spanish radio station Ondacera, although he did suggest that Liverpool will be favourites to win against Tottenham:
“In theory, Liverpool are the favourites after the season they’ve had but anything can happen in the game. We’ve already seen that this season the Champions League has been a bit crazy; last minute goals, comebacks. Anything can happen.”

Liverpool did the double over Tottenham in the Premier League this season, winning both games 2-1, although they were incredibly lucky to win the game at Anfield.
On their day, Spurs can beat anyone, and the Merseyside outfit will have to be wary of that.
Whatever the outcome, there should be a wonderfully exciting game of football on display in Madrid on June 1st, with both sides being well renowned for their expansive, attacking footballing philosophies.
