Arsenal are currently second in the table behind Chelsea.
Speaking to the Mirror, former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman says he would take the Premier League over the Champions League this season.
The Gunners have been impressive in the league, going unbeaten since the opening day loss to Liverpool.
That sees them second in the table, just three points behind league leaders Chelsea.
They have also done well in Europe, with the midweek win over Basel seeing the Gunners secure top spot in their group ahead of Paris Saint-Germain.

It is the first time they have finished top of the group for some time and they will now be hoping to make it past the last 16 stage for the first time in a number of years.
Seaman, though, would prefer that his old side go out and secure the Premier League title.
“It could be (Arsenal’s season in Europe) but I would take the Premier League first just to shut everyone up,” he told the Mirror.
“They’ve shown they can beat the best in both the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
“They’ve now get to keep that consistency going because that’s where the club have fallen short in the recent past.”

It will certainly be interesting to see where Arsene Wenger puts his priorities in the new year.
Gunners fans would likely prefer to see a sustained title challenge but with the top of the division looking sure to be a competitive one, perhaps they would be best focusing on Europe.
