Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been full of praise for Crystal Palace and their talisman Wilfried Zaha.
Palace are doing very well at the moment. Patrick Vieira has got them playing some scintillating stuff and they’ve just beaten Manchester City 2-0.
Zaha has been in top form so far this term, and Seaman has compared him to Jack Grealish – the most expensive player in English football history.
What’s been said?
Seaman noted that, much like Grealish, Zaha is good at throwing defenders off their game and he has a knack of bringing out a nasty streak in some players.
“Wilf’s an Arsenal fan and it’s like he’s working for his idol, this is the invincibles’ captain! Wilf Zaha is like Grealish for Man City. I don’t know why but people just seem to want to really kick him and it puts them off their game and I can’t believe they get drawn into that situation where they almost forget their style of play and want to kick their opponent,” Seaman said.

Nuisance
It must be an absolute nightmare to play against Zaha.
He’s one of the most unpredictable, trickiest and fastest players in the Premier League, so it’s no wonder why defenders want to kick lumps out of him.
Unfortunately for the opposition, this often ends up in a red card or a penalty, making Zaha a real asset for Palace.
Aymeric Laporte was sent off for his challenge on Zaha at the weekend, while the winger also contributed to Japhet Tanganga’s sending off earlier this season.
For some reason, defenders just can’t seem to resist fouling players like Zaha and Grealish.
