David Prutton has predicted on Skysports.com that Leeds United will lose to Hull City away from home on Tuesday evening.

The Whites will take on Hull at the KCOM Stadium in the Championship this evening.

Former Leeds midfielder Prutton has backed the Tigers to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 1-0 win.

Prutton wrote on Skysports.com: “Beating Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup was a real boost for Hull after such a dismal run of form, but now they’ve got to start scoring goals in the Championship as well, which they simply haven’t been doing.

“They meet a Leeds who have slipped away from the play-offs again and are in need of a win themselves to recapture some form. It’s a good time to play Leeds, however, and I think Hull could nick this one.”

A footnote added: “Prutton predicts: 1-0.”

Leeds are not in good form at the moment, and their recent performances and results have been disappointing.

Even at Elland Road, Thomas Christiansen’s side have not looked too confident, and it could be tough for them to win against Hull.

True, the Tigers are in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season, but they do have some good players.

Moreover, the Hull team will be up for the game against Leeds and will be determined to pick up at least a point at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Leeds are ninth in the Championship table at the moment, while Hull are currently 21st in the standings.
