Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday will face each other in the Championship this week.

Wednesday will take on Ipswich away from home at Portman Road in the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Prutton has backed his former club Wednesday to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-1 win.

“This should be an interesting clash at Portman Road between two sides who have differing styles of play,” Prutton wrote on Skysports.com.
“Ipswich have plenty of firepower and would fancy their chances against any side in the division on their day, and I’ll say again that Mick McCarthy doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
“This could swing either way, but Sheffield Wednesday generally pull out a result whenever they really need to and I think Carlos Carvalhal’s side will nick all three points.”
A footnote added: “Prutton predicts: 1-2.”

Wednesday’s performances and results so far this season have been mixed, and they have struggled for consistency.
Although the Owls won 2-1 against Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Championship before the international break, they played out a goalless draw with Bristol City at the Hillsborough Stadium at the weekend.
Ipswich are above Wednesday in the league table at the moment and are also aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
Playing at home will give Mick McCarthy’s side an advantage, and one should not be surprised if they pick up at least a point against Carlos Carvalhal’s team.
